Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
- Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant. It prevents the destruction of cell structure. It fastens the treatment of injuries. It is protective against cancer. It prevents atherosclerosis and vessel congestion. It embellishes the skin. It strengthens the immune system. It has vital importance for health of eye. It provides protection against the heavy metals, poisoned complexes, radiation taken and toxins caused by some drugs taken. It is proved to have positive effect on the prevention of loss of mind related with aging (Alzheimer).
- It is mostly found mainly in wheat then in green vegetables like spinach, squash, cabbage, lettuce, olive oil, fish oil, hazel nut, walnut, tuna fish, sardines, egg yolk, tomato, and potato.
- The deficiency of vitamin E is seen very rarely. In case of deficiency of vitamin E, anemia and defect of eyesight at first and then easy tiring, late treatment of injuries, reluctance to sexual intercourse or infertility may arise. The deficiency may also increase the risk of heart diseases and cancer.
